Michele Tulak-Gorecki, D.D.S., serves as the 9th District Trustee for the American Dental Association (ADA) and is the Chair of both the ADA Foundation and the ADA Presidential Task Force on Sugar, Diet, and Nutrition. This Task Force is dedicated to advancing initiatives that advocate for sugar reduction and underscore the importance of dentistry in overall health.
Dr. Tulak-Gorecki resides in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and practices dentistry in Warren, Michigan, partnering with her husband, Dr. Christopher Gorecki, in the practice established by her late father, Dr. Stanley Tulak, who was a Nutrition professor at the University of Detroit Dental School in the 1970s.
A 1990 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Dr. Tulak-Gorecki embarked on a path exploring sugar, diet, and nutrition not only to improve her own health but also to enhance the well-being of her family and patients.
She and her husband are parents to two daughters. Their youngest, who has Down Syndrome, lives with them, while their eldest resides in Colorado with her husband and son, the Goreckis' first grandchild.
