Dr Amy Gentner has a private practice in the small town of St Johns, MI, where she focuses on TMD, occlusal dysfunctions, and functional oral rehabilitations. After writing a school paper explaining that dentists are orofacial physicians, she went on to Albion College and then to get her dental degree from the University of Michigan Dental School. She is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, committed to on-going education. Dr Gentner is an alumni and Scholar of the Dawson Academy, studying under Dr Peter Dawson and many other insightful dentists. She is also a Dawson Academy Ambassador and leads the Mid-Michigan Study Club. Dr Gentner is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Central District Dental Society, the Christian Medical and Dental Association, the American Laser Study Club, and the International Affiliation of Tongue-tie Professionals. She strongly believes in using technology such as scanners, CBCTs, Dopplers, and 3D printers to improve the patient experience, provider satisfaction, and treatment outcomes.
