Dr. Ken Rawson earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, then completed an advanced education residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He serves on the ADA Council on Ethics, Bylaws and Judicial Affairs, as is currently Immediate Past President of the Illinois State Dental Society.
Dr. Rawson is the Director of Pediatric and Special Care Dentistry at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Rawson’s professional passion has always been providing quality specialty dental care to pediatric patients. As an avid cyclist, when not treating patients or working with the Illinois State Dental Society, Dr. Rawson can be found on the local bike trails.
Dr. Rawson is a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, St. Clair District Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
