The science-backed benefits of meditation are numerous -- stress reduction, anxiety management, improved immune system, memory, focus, and mood. Meditation also can lower cortisol, heart rate, and blood pressure. Many people think meditation is too difficult or their mind wanders too much to be still. But it's really quite simple. This session is for anyone who would like to learn the basics of meditation or for experienced meditators who want a relaxing break during the conference. We'll discuss the health benefits of meditation and then relax with a simple practice you can do anywhere.
