Mr. Matt Zaborowski, is the Sr. Manager of Medicaid Programs & Health Policy in the Center for Public and Population Health of the Practice Institute of the American Dental Association. He supports the ADA and the activities of the Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention under the direction of Dr. Jane Grover. He previously acted as the Manager of Preventive Health Activities, but now oversees population-based and public health efforts to expand Medicaid participation and increase utilization of services to improve access to care.
Before joining the ADA, Matt served as Idaho's de facto state dental director as the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare's Oral Health Program manager. In that role, successfully oversaw the state’s first Workforce Assessment and Optimal Fluoridation Plan.
Matt lives in Chicago with his partner Aaron and their two dogs Remi and Tornado. Matt earned a Master’s in Public Health with a dental emphasis from A.T. Still University and received a Certification in Public Health from the National Board of Public Health Examiners. He has extensive experience in oral health prevention, education, and advocacy.
