Improper use of local anesthetic agents has the potential to produce dangerous or even life-threatening adverse reactions. Dr. Tom Viola will share an overview of local anesthetic agents commonly used in dentistry, with special emphasis on developing strategies essential to accurately identify the need for pain control. You will also understand how to individualize patient care and assess the efficacy of the local anesthetic agents administered.
